We are very sorry to tell you that due to the outbreak of COVID-19 PyGrunn is postponed

During the outbreak of the coronavirus -a global crisis- it would be irresponsible to continue with PyGrunn. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this pandemic. We have decided to skip a year and move PyGrunn to 2021.

FAQ

Your questions about the postponement answered here:

I already bought a ticket, is it still valid?

Yes, all tickets are still valid for this edition of PyGrunn. You are still very welcome on the 21st of May 2021 in the Forum Groningen. Early-bird tickets are no exception. We are very happy that you have decided to go to PyGrunn and we are keen to meet you at PyGrunn!

I already submitted an RFP, will you still review it?

Yes. And thank you for submitting an RFP! Note that PyGrunn is not cancelled, but postponed. Therefore, we still need speakers! You do not have to submit a new RFP. Due to the postponement, it is likely that we will review and respond later than expected, but we will let you know.

Will the location change?

No. PyGrunn will still be held at Forum Groningen.

Can you assure that it will go on on the 21st of May 2021?

We have set the 21st of May 2021 in our agendas of PyGrunn’s 10th anniversary. However, we don’t know how this situation will develop. We are constantly monitoring the situation and we strongly hope that the situation will improve soon. We will follow the advice and regulations from the governmental institutions in the Netherlands which are still very likely to change for the upcoming period. Due to the uncertainty of the circumstances, the 21st of May 2021 is a date with reservation, given that the situation is improved significantly by then.

Is PyGrunn cancelled completely?

No, it is postponed to the 21st of May 2021, given the circumstances are improved by then.

See you soon!
